Sideboard Restyled!

I was been debating painting this sideboard for a while.  I purchased the original piece off eBay and it was in almost immaculate condition.  To paint it felt like an injustice.  Here is how it used to look ...

Then I saw so many white sideboards that looked amazing and decided it was my piece of furniture now and to make it mine, it would need my special touch ... with a paintbrush. :)

I didn't want to distress the edges, but I do plan to paint the top white as well.

Here's a before and after ...

I love how bright and beautiful it looks painted white and am happy with my decision.

I'll be working on this piece next ....

    1. Thanks Cindy! I've seen some all white and think I might like it better all white. Still, by the time I get around to doing it I'll probably change my mind. ;) Thanks for dropping by! Julie

  9. Amazing transformation. I love the stained top, but I'm wondering how it would look with a white top.
