I thrift, Therefore I am.
I'm so excited to share with you some of the treasures I found on my thrifty travels this weekend. I wasn't going to venture out to the yard sales, given I was still a bit nervous driving after my car accident a few weeks ago where I side swiped another car whilst parking outside a yard sale and rubbernecking the goodies across the road at the same time. I won't be doing that again. However, I had been dreaming about the sales during the night, so took it as a sign from above. Praise the Lord, he was looking down on me today.
I am smitten with old flower frogs, but have not come across any until now. So you can imagine how fast my shaky little hand snatched this up. At $1 I had to stop myself from screaming and jumping for joy right there and then.
I have also been on the look out for some large hurricane candle holders. This massive one was a bargain at just $3. And it's perfect for my Christmas decorating.
How cute is this glittery Christmas tree tea light holder, especially for just $2!
This divine vintage etched glass mirror was begging for me to take it home, and after I rubbed my eyes to make sure I wasn't imagining that $4 price sticker, I couldn't grab it fast enough.
These beautiful vintage metal lamp bases were $1 just each. Mine, and Mine. :)
And how utterly adorable is this old metal trash basket (or lamp shade) for just $3. I'll find a use for it somewhere. :)
I love old kitchen utensils and gardening tools, so you can imagine how fast I snatched up these cute rusty old garden sheers for just $1.
And, although I had never seen one of these before and initially had no idea what it was, this old Multi Opener for $1 was totally coming home with me.
Not a bad little shopping trip for just $17.
Driving confidence restored. :)
