Thrifty Finds!
Today I'm sharing some little treasures I picked up recently at a Church sale.
A pair of linen lampshades. I have some vintage lamp bases I'm going to use them with.
I fell in love with this vintage coast set. I plan to paint it white and replace the cork.
I also scooped up this old wooden flour container. Again, I plan to paint it white and distress to bring out those lovely details.
The little white jug was also new and will make a gorgeous little vase.
The mini blue colander will probably receive a coat of white spray paint and be kept in the kitchen.
The orange utensils container will also undergo the white spray paint and be kept in the kitchen.
And I'm yet to decide where to put the lamp base.

I have a thing for old colanders and yours makes me want to find a garage sale and look for more. Love it.
ReplyDeleteI love colanders too! And a good garage sale. ;) Julie
DeleteJulie,
ReplyDeleteLove all your found treasures. That is an unusual jug with the hole in the spout. I have never seen one like that. Happy Mom's Day.
Kris
Oh Kris, that is a round sticker. Each coloured sticker represented a price. Sorry, no holes. :) Julie
DeleteGreat finds Julie, can't wait to see those things painted white, I bet they will be so fresh looking!

ReplyDeleteThanks Darielle. Me too. I don't get too many here but this was a bi-annual one that I always go to. :) Julie
