Our 2015 Glittery Gold Christmas Tree

I love this year's tree. It is by far my most extravagant tree to date.

You might remember I recently spray painted snow on our tree.
You can see the the details here.

I went with a gold theme this year, which included dark
and light shades of gold and copper.

I'm especially proud of my DIY Tree Topper
You can see how I made it here.

There are some old ornaments and a lot of new decorations too!

I bought lots more balls in shades of gold and copper.

And purchased lots of new floral sprigs to insert into the
branches to fill out our tree.

I also added layers of gold tinsel and layers of thick
cascading ribbon.

These beautiful word decorations I purchased a few years
ago from Myer and still love them.

I had the long drop ornaments, but the glitter snowflakes are new.

I love the way some of the larger sprigs
poke out from the tree.

And it looks perfect in the lounge room corner.

Especially at night ...

:) Julie
