DIY Rustic Wooden Box Centrepiece
I put this little project together last week. All I used was some scrap wood.
The dimensions are as follows:
Sides - 60cms long x 9cms high x 2cms thick. (2 pieces)
Ends - (squares) 9cms x 9cms x 2cms thick. (2 pieces)
I clamped them in place, pre-drilled my screw holes, then screwed it all together.
Lastly I applied a stain.
Then it was ready for me to add my greenery.
(I also cut a few smaller blocks so I could raise up my centre plant.
I placed these in the bottom of my box.)
Then I added a few stems of hydrangeas.
And finally, my centre plant.
I'm looking forward toward changing it up for Christmas.
:) Julie
