Chicken Wire Framed 3D Star
One old picture frame, painted white, sanded and distressed. Glass removed.
Roll of "bird wire" (has smaller holes than chicken wire) purchased from the hardware and cut to frame size.
Attach with staple gun and you're done!
I then printed out a cardboard 3D star. Folded, and added some black paint to the creases for emphasis.
Then tied the star onto the wire using gorgeous jute twine. Don't you just love twine. :)
Oh, yeah, and a quick spray of clear gloss on the photo frame to seal the paint.
Very cute if I do say so myself.
I think I'll hang this one on the wall and maybe add some hooks to the bottom of the frame. :)
I only wish I had made one at Christmas.
:) Julie
