Aqua Queen Anne Bedside Tables
As part of my main bedroom makeover, I redid these beautiful antique bedside tables.
Here's a before shot.
After sanding all the glossy varnish off, I applied 3 coats of flat Aqua paint.
Following this I mixed up a watery black stain solution and working in sections, roughly brushed the stain on.
Then with a damp rag I roughly wiped the stain off to give an aged effect.
Then I used 240 grit sandpaper to distress the entire piece.
The handles also got a coat of gloss black spray paint.
I absolutely love the way it turned out.
