Dining Room 2020 Tour

It's been way too long since I've done proper room tours so I'm starting in the dining room and hopefully I'll work my way around the house.

I guess the biggest change is the wall colour. I've gone from Natural White to Dove White in the upper halves of the walls. The dining room is in the middle of the house and doesn't get much light so the lighter walls really work well here.
The feature wall above the table still has my much loved DIY "Cafe de Paris" sign and "Fresh Eggs" sign.
The lanterns are a new addition and contain flickering battery operated candles. I don't use "faux" candles much, but they are safer in these lanterns and I can have the real ones on the table.

I am still totally in love with my dining table. The woodgrain is so beautiful!!!
I kept the chairs from our previous table as they are comfortable and we all love the high backs. I had previously painted them black to match the table legs but the white was calling me, so ...
The DIY wood box also got a small makeover with a dry brush of white paint. I wanted it to really contrast with the wood in the table. It's great for seasonal decorating too.
My buffet hasn't really changed. Just a few new/different items on display.
Again, I love changing this up for Easter and Christmas.

I love these framed photos too! Aren't windmills so awesome!

And that is my current dining room. Next in line is the lounge room.
