DIY Farmhouse Easter Birdcage

I haven't done one of these before, but on Friday, when we were all home and the kids were doing their online school work, I grabbed my birdcage and some Easter goodies and some greenery and now I have an Easter Birdcage!
That's one good thing about not being able to go out, I am utilising more of the things I already have on hand and restyling them into new stuff.
I started with two small potted plants from Adairs. One I kept in the pot, and the other I pulled apart and layered on the base of the cage.
Next I used some coconut fibre to make a cute bird's nest and added some faux eggs.
And put in this sweet little ceramic bunny.
Lastly I draped some faux greenery over the outside top of the cage. It came in a pot from Bunnings.
Lastly, I added a couple of real sticks to the back of the cage.
I'm going to display it on the bottom shelf of my hall table, with a few faux plants I got from Early Settler.
Stay Safe,

  1. I love the way you styled your cage! I have several birdcages, and you have inspired me to try something similar!

    1. Hi Cherryl and thank you! You should definitely give it a try. Good luck and take care, Julie
