DIY Faux Brick Wall Entry and Wooden French Door Makeover

I don't know how many times I have painted and then sanded these doors. I love them white ..and I also love them in their original wood appearance.
But, for now I'm going with the wood.

And here are my before and after photos.

Don't you love the contrast!

I wanted to add some more faux brick wallpaper in our house, the same one I used on our fireplace. I thought the entryway was a perfect place.

I only wanted to do a small section, and wrap it round into the hallway so it looked sort of like a brick pylon in the middle of the house that had been exposed.

I think it turned out fantastic!
And here is a quick before and after.

Sanding the doors admittedly was a lot of hard work. I had to buy a new small sander for $50 to get into some of edges and new sanding pads for my Dewalt Orbital Sander which were approximately $10. The wallpaper was only $10 though. Overall I think it was a worthwhile investment.
