DIY Outdoor Christmas Sack Banner
I don't usually decorate our front verandah for Christmas, but this year a few decorations caught my eye that would be perfect.
One was this large Christmas sack from Kmart for only $5.
To make it into a hanging banner, I hot glued the bag shut first.
I purchased a strip of primed timber from Bunnings for $5 and cut it into lengths to fit my sack top and bottom. Then I attached them to both ends using hot glue.
I purchased some jute rope at Ronis for $3.
And tied it to the top piece of timber on my banner.
I screwed a hook to the roof of the verandah close to the wall to hang my banner on. It provides a bit impact and could also be used inside or in place of a wreath on your front door.
I'll be sharing my full front verandah tour shortly!
