CHRISTMAS DRIED ORANGE SLICES - HOW TO AND IDEAS

I dried orange slices last year and decided to do it again this year.  

Cut your oranges slices as thin as possible. This will cut down on the juices and drying time. 

You want to try to keep them the same size too. 

Use paper towels to pat as much juice out of your slices as you can. 

Place cooling racks on baking trays. Then spread your orange slices out on the racks. 


Put them in the oven on 200 degrees Fahrenheit or 100 degrees Celsius. 

I baked mine for 3 hours, checking and flipping them every 30 minutes. 


There are so many things you can do with your slices. 

They are stunning as ornaments on your Christmas tree.


Pretty on a plate on a small table.


And gorgeous strung on a garland of bronze bells.
